8: Mecca's day

I was happy and sad when my parents went to Mecca for performing the obligation number five. I was happy for knowing that my parents finally could make their dream and goal come true. In the other hand, I was so sad for knowing that they’d leave us for a quiet long time. When parents were in Mecca, Ibu-elder sister to my mother- was accompanying us in Bandung. She cooked and took care of us. When my parents returned, we all were so much happy. thanks God there's no bad thing occur.

9: Lost in Bukittinggi

When I was a kid, my father took me to Bukittinggi. We went to some interesting places. At noon, we had lunch in a restaurant; I can still remember I had a fried fish on my plate. Right after finishing my lunch, my father asked me to stay for a moment while he had to go for taking care of something. I waited for a few minutes. A moment later, I felt like I want to pee, so I walked around looking for a toilet. It had been few minutes but I couldn’t find the toilet, I started to get confused and scared. I didn’t know how to get back to the restaurant as well. I was frightened. I began to cry. I didn’t know what to do. Then someone asked me what’s going on. I told him what happened. He asked me what is my name, where do I come from and with whom I went to Bukittinggi. He took me to a tower in Aur Kuning bus station. The police in the tower asked me the similar questions. Then he announced that there’s a boy looks for his father. A moment later, my uncle appeared. I was so happy, a minute after, another uncle came up also. I was so glad. My uncles asked me why I could be there all alone. I told them that I am with my father. Just about five minutes my beloved daddy arrived. I was just feeling good at the time.

10: The Crash

I looked for a Persib jersey that morning. it was around 10.30 when I decided to go back home from the shop, villour. I was caught by traffic jam in Jl. Gegerkalong Hilir. I rode my motorcycle in right lane. I was speeding since the opposite way was totally empty. suddenly, a car in front of me turned right without lighting. I was shocked and the front tyre of my motor hit the car. I was thrown away for meters and my motor slided on the road and smacked an old man walking in the roadside. the old man got a broken leg and I just got a scratch in my body. fortunately, the driver of the car didn't leave us. he took me and the old man to the hospital. I called my parents and they were shocked. they thought I was in very bad condition. according to the deal, the driver had to pay the cost for the hospital while my family had to be responsible for the healing after all. it took a year until the old man is quiet fine. I'm terribly sorry.

11: Liverpool FC

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do.
We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

Shankly is our hero, he showed us how to play
The mighty reds of Europe are out to win today
He made a team of champions, with every man a king
And every game we love to win and this is what we sing.

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do.
We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

Clemence is our goalie, the best there is around
And Keegan is the greatest that Shankly ever found
Heighway is our favourite, a wizard of the game
Anh heres the mighty Toshack to do it once again.

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do.
We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

We've won the league, we've won the cup,
We're masters of the game.
And just to prove how good we are
We'll do it all again.

We've got another team to beat and so we've got to try
'Cos we're the best in all the land
And that's the reason why ..

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do.
We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

12: Being Expelled

Again. The first and the last. Another story about custom and culture differentiation. It was early time I lived in Bandung. When bu Elly-if I’m not mistaken-taught the class, there was something funny occurred and the class laughed out loud. She didn’t mind at first. Then Ms.Elly continued to give the lesson. She stood next to me. When she was educating us, some of the guys in back row keeps laughing and I just smiled to see that. Suddenly, Ms. Elly hit me on my shoulder using her text book and yelled me to leave the class. I was shocked, everyone was, too. I didn’t know if I did something wrong. Is it a big mistake to smile seeing a ridiculous attitude? Leaving the class I went to the mosque. At the end, I apologized to Ms.Elly and promised her that it would be the last time.

13: She says No

Maybe that is the first time I asked someone to be with me. I tried convincing if there any chance to make a relationship but unfortunately she said ‘no’. I accepted the reason, she’s over sea and now I am totally over it. She’s a history now.

14: Sastra as Major

It is a big step in my life when I decided to take Sastra/literature/ as my major in college. At first, I applied for architecture at ITB. I love this subject and I want to be an architect. actually everything turn out when I had bad mark on science subject when I graduated from high school. I just lost my spirit to continue my study in science. I preferred social subject at the moment. I chose sastra at last because of hiding numbers. I didn’t want my mind complicated by such thing any more and any longer. Silly reason actually. But I really enjoyed then and I got a fine job after graduating though I do not really master my subject. I never regret.
