99: First Time in Bali

it was 98, when zidane smacked Brazil in world cup final in St.Dennis, France. and it was july 12 as well. what a day! i just graduated from junior high school couple weeks ago and i was free. my unlce offered me to accompany him and his family to go to Bali for vacation. Bali? wow, of course. we went on July 13, and arrived in Bali two days later. it was very tired, we spent two days in car plus a night in a hotel in Surabaya. at first, it was very fantastic to be in Bali. it is very famous island. we went to many places in Bali such as Kintamani, Ubud, Sangeh, Tanah Lot. On the third day we went to famous Kuta beach. wow! it was so amazing to there. when i was enjoying the kuta's sunlight, suddenly my uncle asked me and the rest to leave the beach. he said,"a lot foreigners, they are shameless, sunbathing just in bikini. we're supposed to be ashamed!". arrrrgggggggggh.
so, we had to leave the beach before enjoying it much more. as the result of the 'shameless' foreigners especially the ladies, my uncle canceled visiting sanur. "what a pity"
the vacation ran not so well because there was a 'family tragedy' during the holiday. my uncle had a "different perception and argument" with my aunt. so the circumstance was unwell.
at the end, after spending 8 days in Bali, my uncle decided to go home. when we arrived in Lumajang, we visited mount Bromo. wow, amazing spectacle! amazing view! fabulous scenery.
that was my -not too good- trip to Bali and Bromo. i suggest you, if you want to go to Kuta, don't go with your family, it's much better with your friends! trust me...
