love is Cinta

lagi pengen posting lirik lagu Indonesia. Ini soundtrack film Love is Cinta. Seseorang pernah berpesan kepada saya, kalau saya benar2 serius, maka jaganlah main2. jangan hanya karena cinta terus semuanya jadi terburu2, jadi buta. Ingat, Love is Cinta. begitu katanya. dia punya daya magis yang dahsyat.

Ada Cinta

Ucapkanlah kasih
Satu kata yang kunantikan
Sebab ku tak mampu membaca matamu
Mendengar bisikmu

Nyanyikanlah kasih
Senandung kata hatimu
Sebab ku tak sanggup
Mengartikan getar ini
Sebab ku meragu pada dirimu

Mengapa berat ungkapkan cinta
Padahal ia ada dalam rinai hujan
Dalam terang bulan juga dalam shedu sedang
Mengapa sulit mengaku cinta padahal ia terasa
Dalam rindu dendam hening malam cinta terasa ada

Parted

SLEEPLESS I listen to the surge and drone
And drifting roar of the town’s undertone;
Till through quiet falling rain I hear the bells
Tolling and chiming their brief tune that tells
Day’s midnight end. And from the day that’s over 5
No flashes of delight I can recover;
But only dreary winter streets, and faces
Of people moving in loud clanging places:
And I in my loneliness, longing for you...

For all I did to-day, and all I’ll do 10
To-morrow, in this city of intense
Arteried activities that throb and strive,
Is but a beating down of that suspense
Which holds me from your arms.
I am alive
Only that I may find you at the end 15
Of these slow-striking hours I toil to spend,
Putting each one behind me, knowing but this—
That all my days are turning toward your kiss;
That all expectancy awaits the deep
Consoling passion of your eyes, that keep 20
Their radiance for my coming, and their peace
For when I find in you my love’s release.

Siegfried Sassoon (1886–1967). Picture-Show. 1920.

She walks in Beauty

SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light 5
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face; 10
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow, 15
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

George Gordon Byron, Lord Byron. 1788–1824

Think of me (from the Phantom of the Opera)

Think of me,
think of me fondly,
when we've said goodbye.
Remember me
once in a while -
please promise me you'll try.
When you find that, once again, you long
to take your heart ...
When you find that, once again, you long
to take your heart back and be free -
if you ever find a moment,
spare a thought for me
We never said our love was evergreen,
or as unchanging as the sea -
but if you can still remember
stop and thinkof me . . .

Think of all the things
we've shared and seen -
don't think about the things
which might have been . . .

Think of me,
think of me waking,
silent and resigned.
Imagine me, trying too hard
to put you from my mind.

Recall those days
look back on all those times,
think of the things we'll never do -
there will never be a day, when
I won't think of you . .

Impossible is Nothing

impossible is just a big word trhown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. impossible is not a fact. it's an opinion. impossible is not a declaration. it's a dare. impossible is potential. impossible is temporary. impossible is nothing.

1: Civil Servant

Why does this thing valuable enough to be number one? there are many good reasons.
1. Thanks God that I could pass at my first attempt.
2. This may not be a very good choice but every body does want it, and I'm so glad to be one of the them.
3. I met Mba' Dewi
4. At my age, I can plan many things.
5. I got this job just about a month after graduating.
6. etc

2: Anggraeni Kusumadewi

If someone were to ask me to use a phrase to describe this intelligent lady, it would be "public's sweet heart"; being loved by every body. With that in mind, I thank God given me this opportunity to know her. Every path I walked down with is the best gift of my life. Each and every moment with her is wonderful. To me, she's like an angel that heaven sent me. The goddess of my fairy tale. With all her goodness and weaknesses, I put my heart in.

Then...
What makes a man falling in love with someone? I guess the answer is common, standard. In my case, I just feel that I'll be happy with her and I also feel that I have the capability to make her feel the same way. That's all.

*dear, I really want to spend the rest of my life with you, no matter what. but, eventually the decision maker is Him and the thing I can do is making the effort and praying. 'May God destine us to be'.*

3: Graduation Day

hmm...yup, this is the day where I'm so proud of myself. The graduation day. May 25, 2006. I was representing my faculty to be awarded by the rector. It was so fantastic moment in my life. it was the result of my hard work (did I?).
The day before I had to attend the rehearsal since I got the chance to represent my faculty but I had a job interview in Sampoerna. So, you know what happen on the day, yup, I looked a bit awkward. But generally, every thing ran very well, I got the first turn to be awarded. wow. it all started from me. wow. the thing that makes me really happy is the governor of West Java, Mr. Danny Setiawan witnessed my graduation day.
What a day!. that day I felt like in bliss, I made my parents proud of having me. Thanks all!.

5: Failed on SPMB

what would you feel if you fail on thing you wish for? it'd be so disappointing. I hoped so much passing the SPMB test, I registered to ITB's Architect. but what to say, I failed. at first I was so sad moreover some of my friends succeeded. They made it. But, I could take the positive point, maybe Allah has His own path for me. and it's true. I am happy with my decision.

6: Moved to Bandung

When my father asked me to move from Batusangkar to Bandung, I didn't know what should I do. I was happy because I could gather with my family but I was sad as well because I had to leave so many memories. At first I was afraid how to behave among the Sundanese, how to socialize in the new environment which totally different from my former neighborhood. It was a tough time to me.

7: Final Paper Test

one of my big days. the day where I had to present my paper. i couldn't sleep the night before. it was very tough for me and I was so nervous. in the morning, there were issues who are gonna be the examiners. the gossip said that Prof. Chaedar and Prof. Dudih would be the examiners. the rumor was not quiet true, Mr. Dudih's not in charge.
at first, I was tested by Mr. Iwan then Mr. Kunkun and Mr. Chaedar. when I was getting out of the room, I was so happy and relieved. at noon, we were announced that all of us passed the test and awarded Sarjana Sastra. Thanks God.

8: Mecca's day

I was happy and sad when my parents went to Mecca for performing the obligation number five. I was happy for knowing that my parents finally could make their dream and goal come true. In the other hand, I was so sad for knowing that they’d leave us for a quiet long time. When parents were in Mecca, Ibu-elder sister to my mother- was accompanying us in Bandung. She cooked and took care of us. When my parents returned, we all were so much happy. thanks God there's no bad thing occur.

9: Lost in Bukittinggi

When I was a kid, my father took me to Bukittinggi. We went to some interesting places. At noon, we had lunch in a restaurant; I can still remember I had a fried fish on my plate. Right after finishing my lunch, my father asked me to stay for a moment while he had to go for taking care of something. I waited for a few minutes. A moment later, I felt like I want to pee, so I walked around looking for a toilet. It had been few minutes but I couldn’t find the toilet, I started to get confused and scared. I didn’t know how to get back to the restaurant as well. I was frightened. I began to cry. I didn’t know what to do. Then someone asked me what’s going on. I told him what happened. He asked me what is my name, where do I come from and with whom I went to Bukittinggi. He took me to a tower in Aur Kuning bus station. The police in the tower asked me the similar questions. Then he announced that there’s a boy looks for his father. A moment later, my uncle appeared. I was so happy, a minute after, another uncle came up also. I was so glad. My uncles asked me why I could be there all alone. I told them that I am with my father. Just about five minutes my beloved daddy arrived. I was just feeling good at the time.

10: The Crash

I looked for a Persib jersey that morning. it was around 10.30 when I decided to go back home from the shop, villour. I was caught by traffic jam in Jl. Gegerkalong Hilir. I rode my motorcycle in right lane. I was speeding since the opposite way was totally empty. suddenly, a car in front of me turned right without lighting. I was shocked and the front tyre of my motor hit the car. I was thrown away for meters and my motor slided on the road and smacked an old man walking in the roadside. the old man got a broken leg and I just got a scratch in my body. fortunately, the driver of the car didn't leave us. he took me and the old man to the hospital. I called my parents and they were shocked. they thought I was in very bad condition. according to the deal, the driver had to pay the cost for the hospital while my family had to be responsible for the healing after all. it took a year until the old man is quiet fine. I'm terribly sorry.

12: Being Expelled

Again. The first and the last. Another story about custom and culture differentiation. It was early time I lived in Bandung. When bu Elly-if I’m not mistaken-taught the class, there was something funny occurred and the class laughed out loud. She didn’t mind at first. Then Ms.Elly continued to give the lesson. She stood next to me. When she was educating us, some of the guys in back row keeps laughing and I just smiled to see that. Suddenly, Ms. Elly hit me on my shoulder using her text book and yelled me to leave the class. I was shocked, everyone was, too. I didn’t know if I did something wrong. Is it a big mistake to smile seeing a ridiculous attitude? Leaving the class I went to the mosque. At the end, I apologized to Ms.Elly and promised her that it would be the last time.

13: She says No

14: Sastra as Major

It is a big step in my life when I decided to take Sastra/literature/ as my major in college. At first, I applied for architecture at ITB. I love this subject and I want to be an architect. actually everything turn out when I had bad mark on science subject when I graduated from high school. I just lost my spirit to continue my study in science. I preferred social subject at the moment. I chose sastra at last because of hiding numbers. I didn’t want my mind complicated by such thing any more and any longer. Silly reason actually. But I really enjoyed then and I got a fine job after graduating though I do not really master my subject. I never regret.

15: Syringe

I don’t know what is the exact reason why I am afraid of this thing. I don’t like to be injected. I just scare and feel uncomfortable. Might say, I am a syringe phobia. For me, the syringe cause a strange sensation. horrified. The last time I was injected was when I had to run a medical check for applying the PNS status. It was so terrible.

At first I rejected it because I didn’t know what to do and I had to go alone while I know nothing about Bogor and the training itself. But after reconsidering the offer, I said yes. ‘It’s good for me and my existence in the office’, I thought. I went to Bogor then and it was quiet fun and it was not as difficult as I thought.

31: Math

I love this subject since I was in junior high school though it is not my favorite one. Actually, my favorite subject is history. I used to learn 'PSPB' stands for Pendidikan Sejarah Perjuangan Bangsa. Back to math, I have fabulous experience when I was in high school. I participated in International Mathematics Olympic for Bandung level two years in row representing my high school. I was in tenth and twentieth. not bad. I also ever represented my high school in 'Cepat Tepat Matematika' and my team failed in semi beaten by SMUN 1 Cirebon which finally won the event. The participants are from DKI and West Java. not bad.
Ever since, I turned to be a celebrity among the teachers and they always backed me up. one time, I made a mistake to my math teacher, but she spontaneously was angry to my friend. I realy felt guilty. sorry buddy.

32: What is My Fault?

My first year in Bandung was a tough. I had to learn the language, the culture, and the custom. One moment when I had to interact with my Sundanese teacher, I experienced something bad. I needed to copy my paper and I asked her permission to take my paper which she kept in her desk. I asked her politely with my Sumatran-Indonesian dialect. I admit that our dialect is tougher and sound harder than Javanese. She thought that I was yelling her asking in loud voice. I did not know what I did was wrong. according to me, I already spoke with a normal sound, maybe for I am a Sumatran, I speak a bit louder. it's normal.
she was very angry, she said I was impolite. I had to say sorry. I was sorry then. unfortunately, it happened in teacher's room in break time. all eyes were on me. I felt like i was humiliated. what is my fault. Badly, every time she begins the lesson, she starts with telling my story to others.

39: Class Dismissed

There are a lot types of lecturer. Some are friendly and some are not. When I was in the third semester, one of my lecturer teaching Indonesian History, rule the class in different way, a bit too strong. At first day of class, he told us some agreements then he applied it only one way. There was a case when he broke his own rule. a point of the agreement is the student may come late for 15 minutes only but the lecturer is 30 minutes. one time, my buddy Adit was late for about 20 minutes and Mr.Nobita-his popular name among students- sentenced him not join the class. without asking the reason he just put the student out. Few weeks later, he came late for about an hour and easily he asked us to get into the class to have today's lecture. The class leader asked him about the agreement and he said, "I was late for a reason, I was so busy and anyone who does not agree, I please to leave the class."
Certainly, some of my friends-Adit included- and I left the class because we couldn't accept his reason. so injustice. unfair. the six of us just watched the others were watching us leaving the class. To me and the lads, the class was over. at first, there was a thought if it would impact to our mark or he wouldn't allow to pass this lecture.

Catatan Harian...

Minggu, 1 Juli 2007. Pukul 13.45.
Sesaat kemudian beberapa SMS masuk, umumnya mengenai kegiatan Kapus esok hari.
